Gilbert is a 2+ year old Basset Hound. He was brought as pedigree but we dont have the papers for him. He is a lovely boy and we have had him since he was a pup of 8 weeks old. He's been castrated and is micro chipped. The reason for rehomeing is that I am finding it harder and harder to meet his needs....he loves walkies and as a hunting dog, needs lots of exercise but I have two young children who are on the verge of being diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome and I really dont have the time or engery to fullfill his needs. So I am looking for a new owner for him. Prefferably someone who has had experience with Bassets as they are a unique, stubborn bread and can be quite time consuming.
