Hello and welcome to our site!
My name is Jill and my hubby is called Dave a.k.a Jildadanes.
I have owned Great Danes for over 25 years and am still learning as the years go on!
I first got involved with the breed when i rescued Susie a 12mth old Fawn bitch that arrived in a very poor state. I managed to build her up but sadly lost her after two years due to lack of adequate nourishment as a puppy. After Susie i felt more needed to be done and joined Great Dane Rescue. Over the years i fostered many Danes in distress, sometimes even two at once. I have had many characters over the years but none as funny and comical as Scooby the deaf harlequin also named 'Po', but to be honest you could call him anything! ha ha I got very attached to Po but sadly had to re-home him, this was a very hard decision and after that i stopped fostering as each time is became harder and harder.
After a small amount of time without Danes i couldn't cope any longer and bought my first brindle Puppy in Nov 1993. Tiny was my rock she went through thick and thin with me, i sadly lost her in 2005 at a good old age of 12.
After Tiny me and my husband Dave and the four boys moved house to a small holding where our collection has grown!
